Leechburg Elks Hoop Shoot Planned For January
Each year, Elks Lodges all over the country hold their Hoop Shoot Events for children 8-13 years old. The children are divided by age and sex into six groups. Age groups are determined by participants age as of April 1, 2010. The competition will be open to all children in the A-K Valley in these age groups. Each child throws 25 free throws and those scoring highest in each group will be the first place winners - all of the first place winners will be eligible to participate in the West Central District Shoot-Off. In the event that any of the first place winners is unable to participate in the that event, the runner up in that group will be asked to fill in. Leechburg Lodge is now planning for this event which will be January. 9th, 2010 at 2 PM in the Leechburg High School Gym. Come Join In The Fun!!
